Hi, my name is Patrick Duffy and the Urban Spirit concept and service is something I have seen a developing need for over the last few of my five years in Singapore. As an expatriate executive of an MNC, from the UK, I was faced with the dilemma of whether to opt for a company car or cash allowance. As most of us do, I soon realised the high cost and complexity of buying, owning and running a car in Singapore and that halcyon image I had of being chauffeured around by a personal driver was nearly as exclusive an option as it is back home, if I wanted that I should have opted for Malaysia or Thailand !
So for me, the solution was a long term contract arrangement with a good Taxi limousine driver which served me well for many years but is not something that is generally accessible and even that has had its drawbacks.
It is of course true that taxis here are relatively cheap and plentiful, at least at certain times of the day, but they really don’t provide me with the kind of comfort, service and consistency that I expect in other areas of my life.
So after a lot of thought I realised that there was another way to provide the kind of service that so many people want, at a cost that makes it accessible and in a way that is easy to use and that resulted in the birth of Urban Spirit.
Having lived and worked here and across the region for five years I now have a pretty good understanding, at a personal level, of life here in Singapore (both its good and at time the not so good) and its that combined with my commercial experience that’s enabled us to bring you this innovative new service.
I truly believe that by offering you the kind of service that you expect as part of your life here in Singapore we can do our part to helping to live the lifestyle you want to, making it just that bit easier and even a bit more fun. My team and I here at Urban Spirit will do our utmost at all times to delight you every step of the way.

The service is provided using high end but practical chauffeured vehicles which are placed at the disposal of the customer for a defined period requested by the customer, during which they can use the service as if it were their own personal car and chauffer.
The vehicles are unmarked and the chauffeurs selected and trained to provide a smart, discrete and effective service with an attention to detail that we know will match or exceed any other transport option available. The service is provided to a closed membership of customers who once they have undertaken a simple registration process and selected their usage package are then free to call (toll free) the call centre to book the actual times the service as required.
